EmoTransits
During the EDL09 trip to Istanbul, I made a series of photographic portraits that I named EmoTransits. Those portraits were of random people who wrote their thoughts on the object that I made of a chair. The object can be carried as a bag. The personal messages on the object add an emotional dimension to the portraits.
I wanted to show the emotional essence of the moment and transmit it to the viewer. The result is a blend of the magic of the city, together with faces that we can't see clearly (or sometimes at all) and the personal emotion of the moment...
I did this video to show my work at the closed presentation at the IED, Madrid.
(In the background I used Coldplay song "Viva la vida").
